As with most people he then went out and got himself a full time job progressing through various aspects of engineering and IT and eventually founding his own engineering company in the early 90’s. In 2000 Mark sold his engineering company and took up an early retirement but because of his business expertise, attention to detail and passion for music his hobby had become bigger than the sum of its parts. It is now a thriving business in its own right with an enviable reputation in the South West offering affordable quality entertainment. Nick Nick Burrett is a very talented Presenter with an extremely high standard of professionalism which is reflected in both his musical knowledge, customer service and enthusiasm for providing top quality entertainment. Nick’s sociable personality enables him to interact with a variety of audiences young and old, both on and off stage. Confident and adaptable to any situation, Nick’s experience ranges from Weddings to entertaining on prestigious cruise ships, even working in top venues throughout the UK and broadcasting to thousands of people on radio. If you want to throw an excellent party, Nick brings over ten years of experience as a mobile and radio DJ to your events. Ash D Ash is the eldest of three brothers all of whom are DJ’s and is a confident talented member of the team, with a strong musical and technical background he is a popular choice of DJ across all party styles. Always in demand with many of our repeat clients Ash delivers consistent quality performances. Ash has been at the forefront during the development of the company and his contribution has made it what it is today. After finishing his A-levels he launched his own property development company and unfortunately 2008 will probably be the last year we will be able to call on his services. However being the consummate professional he is I am sure if we need his help it would be forthcoming. Ash C Ash C or Cottam as he is known to the crew is a tireless contributor with a real talent for classic party music. If you are looking for a DJ with a real gift for party cheese and some good old Rock & Roll he is your man. He always throws in a tune that you haven’t heard for years and wished you had thought of playing. An experienced all rounder Ash is an ideal choice for mixed age groups and family parties offering and understated charm to any event. Please be warned this man can eat for England so under no circumstances should you even suggest he goes anywhere near the buffet table until your guest have had the opportunity to have their fill. Clive Clive and Shirley, our children party specialists because entertaining children is an art. Weddings are a long day for small children and it is not in their nature to be sat down for long periods. We have developed entertainment packages that will keep the younger children occupied throughout the speeches and any other time when a little quiet is required. Already connected with some of the DJ’s through breakdancing Rick fitted in perfectly and made a great addition to the team. Rick spent the next few years assisting Mark at gigs, by watching and learning from Mark and the other DJ’s Rick quickly developed the essential skills needed. In late 2003 Rick took a more active roll in the company and began DJ’ing by himself covering 18th and 21st birthdays. With a solid knowledge of music and excellent people skills Rick become a valued member of the crew. Rick has now left full time education after receiving A-levels in Maths, Chemistry and Performing Arts and spends most of his week training, performing and teaching breakdancing, this ties in perfectly with his DJ role. Andy Andy started as a DJ in the late 90s as a roadie and gained experience over the years eventually becoming a full time DJ. His preferred music styles are RnB, Club and Dance but he is very capable across all music genres. Having recently finishing his time at Sixth Form attaining A Levels in Performing Arts, Business and ICT Andy has also become a respected and capable DJ. Andy is a founder member of the PlusOne Crew who perform all over South Gloucestershire, Wales and the West Country. Andy teaches breakdancing at local youth centers and has recently gained sponsorship and grants to promote the Hip Hop and BBoy culture to a spectrum of youth projects. Hobbies include Parkour and Free Running. Ali Ali started as a roadie in the late 90s when the company was in its infancy. After his apprenticeship as a roadie Ali joined his brothers behind the console as a capable DJ and on the dance floor as an accomplished breakdancer and tricker. He gigs most weekends in between his breakdancing commitments and has a real flair for alternative music. Ali is one of the founder members of the PlusOne Crew (Breakdancing Crew) and spends most of his time training and teaching younger people how to break. Other interest interests include Parkour, art and gymnastics but not necessarily in that order.
